UC Davis C-STEM Day

(A synopsis of the 2013 UC Davis C-STEM Day on May 4, 2013.)

The UC Davis C-STEM Day is organized to build public awareness and advocate for Computing and STEM education. The C-STEM Center has been actively engaged in technology and curriculum development with the support from the NSF to close the achievement gap by broadening participation of students traditionally underrepresented in computing and STEM and to develop students' computer-aided problem-solving skills to tackle real-world STEM problems.

The 2013 C-STEM Day includes two major activities for STEM students.

• RoboPlay - Challenge Competition
• Math Programming Competition

The C-STEM Day Awards Ceremony will present three awards for students.

• Award of Achievement
• Award of Excellence
• C-STEM Scholarship
