A valid UC Davis permit is required to park on campus on the weekdays (Parking is free during the weekend). Daily Visitor Permits are available for $9.00 and may be purchased from permit dispensing machines located at the entrances to P Lots 1, 2, 5, 15, 17, 22, 25, 30, 31, 35, 40, 47, 49, 50, 53, 55, 56, 57, 81, Hopkins Parking Facility, Putah Creek Lodge, and the Pavilion, Gateway, and Quad District Parking Structures. Permit dispensers accept Visa and Mastercard only (they do not accept cash). Visitors also have the option of purchasing a daily/multi-use (up to 10 uses) visitor permit or an EasyPark Personal Parking Meter from Transportation Services.
Visitor permits are valid for the date purchased and are honored in the above lots Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost of Visitor parking permits is not refundable, so please read posted signage to determine if a permit is required. Permits should be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle. Visitor permits are not honored in restricted spaces.
Parking Meters are available for the time purchased by coin (or when an EasyPark is displayed and in use), not to exceed the length of time posted for the area. Meter feeding is prohibited. The vehicle must be moved when the maximum time has elapsed.
If you work with C-STEM for an extended period of time on the campus, C-STEM can make an arrangement with UC Davis TAPS (parking/permitting) to offer a 30 day parking pass, class “C” for $49. This permit offers a significant savings over the daily rate of $9 which amounts to $45 for only one week.
