UC Davis C-STEM Course Enrollment & Attendance Policy

To ensure every teacher feels fully confident and supported in their classroom, we’ve found that full attendance and active participation in C-STEM courses are truly vital. Below is our enrollment and attendance policy on C-STEM courses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.  

Attendance Policy

Teachers may not enroll in a C-STEM course if they miss the first day of instruction, as it covers critical foundational knowledge and logistics. Exceptions to this policy require the express written permission from the C-STEM Director, Dr. Harry Cheng, prior to the start of the course.  He is the sole authority for granting these exceptions. To request an exception, please complete this form and submit it prior to the first day of the course.  Permission must be received before the class begins.
