Scholarship
The C-STEM Scholarship is for college-bound seniors for their exceptional achievement on C-STEM and pursuing computing related post-secondary study in a university. Each scholarship award is $500. Award recipients are selected by the C-STEM Awards Committee consisting of university faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
Nomination Process
- Each teacher may nominate up to 2 students per academic year.
- Teachers, please have student/s complete the C-STEM Award application (as pertains to the specific award applying for) and submit it to you.
- Teachers, please complete the Teacher Recommendation form and upload the student's application form and the Teacher Recommendation form via this link.
- Once complete application has been received, C-STEM will notify you and your nominated student/s.
Qualifications
- Recipients must be high-school senior students from a school with C-STEM annual subscription.
- Recipients must be actively participating in the UC Davis C-STEM program.
Selection Criteria
- Recipient must demonstrate excellent aptitude and interest in computing and its applications in STEM fields.
- Recipient should have leadership ability.
- Recipient should have good academic record, typically a GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Recipient should have post-secondary education plans in computing or computing-related STEM fields.
