2018 RoboPlay Challenge Synopsis
The 8th annual RoboPlay Challenge Competition took place on May 19, 2018, concurrently in Davis, CA and in Irvine, CA.
This year, a total of 153 teams registered, 118 in Northern California and 35 in Southern California. That’s a 40% increase in teams in Northern California!
The 2018 RoboPlay Challenge Competition at Davis, CA was kickstarted with an inspirational keynote speech by Professor Stephen K. Robinson, Chair of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC Davis and former NASA astronaut.
