A Successful 1st RoboPlay Challenge

Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD) organized its first UC Davis C-STEM RoboPlay Challenge Competition at Los Altos High School on April 30. Over 100 elementary, middle, and high school students competed, while hundreds of family members and friends cheered on.

21 student teams competed in this unique, level-playing-field robotics competition designed to showcase their real-world math, coding, problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork. Teams persevered under time constraints to solve challenges revealed on the day of the competition. HLPUSD C-STEM Teachers have been transforming K-12 math education through coding and robotics.
